Who Am I?

My name is Steven Alvey. I’m a husband and a father of five children. We live a simple, quiet life out here in the midwest. I’m also a recently-retired combat veteran. In 2016, not long after returning from my last trip to war, I left the Air Force with my heart set on becoming a full-time marketer.

I had spent about 4 years doing internet marketing and freelancing part-time while I was still active-duty. I had wasted a ton of time in front of a computer and a ton of money on stupid internet marketing products that I thought would magically fix everything. No luck. But, I figured if I did it full-time, I’d be able to achieve my goals. A lot was riding on this decision. A whole lot. I poured myself into that and built a sizeable list (around 600) in a matter of a couple weeks. I had an autoresponder sequence set up with products to promote.

On paper, according to conventional wisdom, this should have been great.
